DescriptionLocation Friendship Home Summer Camp Volunteer August 26, 27 & 28 YMCA Camp Burgess/Hayward, Sandwich, Ma 10:00am-4:00pm each day South Shore Realtors® and Friendship Home are teaming up for summer camp this August. Friendship Home staff needs volunteers to assist with all kinds of summer fun for individuals with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are needed to: - Assist Friendship Home staff and YMCA staff/lifeguards in overseeing campers during waterfront activities (help campers put on life jackets, take boats to water and encourage participation in activities). - Spend time participating and engaging with campers during arts and crafts - Assist and guide campers to clean up and transition to next activity - Engage with campers during team building games or camp wide facilitated games Register by June 1st to volunteer for one, two, or all three days and create summer camp memories for Friendship Home clients that will last a lifetime.
